¼ cup cornflake crumbs
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon dried sage
1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound boneless top loin pork chops (about ¾ inch to 1 inch thick), well trimmed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8-inch by 8-inch baking with nonstick cook spray.
Mix the first five ingredients in a plastic bag. Place a couple pieces of pork in the plastic bag and shake to coat evenly.
Arrange pork in the baking pan so that they are not touching. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until pork is cooked.
Variation: Italian Oven-Fried Pork- Substitute ½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning for the sage and thyme.
