Marinade:
1/3 cup lime juice
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt (optional)
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

1 pound boneless beef top sirloin steak, 1-inch thick
4 (8-inch) or 8 (6-inch) whole wheat tortillas
1 cup each: shredded lettuce and chopped tomato
½ cup sliced green onion

Mix marinade ingredients in a container large enough to hold the steak. Add steak, coating both sides with the marinade. Refrigerate for 1 hour, turning halfway through marinating time. Drain marinade and discard.

Broil or barbeque steak about 2-3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Carvecross grain into thin slices.

Heat tortillas in microwave or in a nonstick skillet. To serve, portion meat. lettuce, tomato, and onions on tortillas.

NOTE: One serving is a good source of fiber.
